Why?

I am not dieting for one whole year. On March 1, 2008 my social experiment began. This blog chronicles my experiences of not dieting. More importantly, it provides support to those who seek more information on not dieting.

Mixed Messages From Seventeen Magazine

How weird is it to have Whitney, who promotes size acceptance, on the cover of a magazine that tells you to tone up your abs so you can feel "awesome". I already feel awesome. No, thanks Seventeen.

What I find interesting is the contrast between this photo of Whitney and the ones that appear in the article by Jess Weiner... Is it just me or does the Seventeen cover make her look thinner (read "airbrushed")?

Jeanne- My first thought was that she looked airbrushed too! I watched the whole show and she is NOT that small!

The other thing is in the interview about top model she says she is a size 10 - and I've also heard that elsewhere. I remember because I thought god, 10 isn't even plus-sized!
But then in the seventeen article, it's all about being a 14???
Maybe she lost weight for being on top model. She looks better as a 14 in my opinion - I can get on board with her more!
