Why?

I am not dieting for one whole year. On March 1, 2008 my social experiment began. This blog chronicles my experiences of not dieting. More importantly, it provides support to those who seek more information on not dieting.

Can I Have Fake Boobs When I Grow Up?

From 'My Beautiful Mommy:' A girl accompanies mom on a cosmetic surgery consultation. Mom explains she'll soon be 'prettier,' and shows where the bandages will be, and the finished product (Source)

This is a real book written by plastic surgeon, Michael Salzhauer, to inform kids about why mommy is getting fake boobs and a few ribs removed. Salzhauer says his inspiration came from the increasing number of moms who brought their kids to his office. What a perfect bonding moment for mother and child. Look here little Jenny, mommy has a little chub on her belly and that makes her ugly. So, this nice doctor is going to jab a vacuum into it and suck all the evil fat out.

I'm no psychologist, but this can't be good for kids. Children learn self-care from their parents. If mommy hates her post-nursing saggy boobs and belly, then so will her daughter. I hope the publisher cancels his book deal, which debuts on Mother's Day. It's filthy.
